On two beautiful Saturday evenings in August and September we showed family movies, had kids activities, and provided snacks and treats to attendees in Mozart Park. We presented Lego Movie 2: The Second Part on August 24 and Enchanted on September 7.

 

Kids loved making slime and working on arts and crafts and enjoying the snacks provided by Pimentel Market and Stop & Shop. We also heard enthusiastic comments such as, "This was the best movie EVER," which made us extremely happy.

 

Thanks to the City of Boston's Parks and Recreation Department for continuing to maintain the park and being responsive when needed. Thank you to Pimentel Market at 340B Centre Street and Stop & Shop at 301 Centre Street for bringing delicious refreshments, snacks, fruit, and ice cream to each movie, and to all the volunteers who helped set up, make slime and decorative frames, and put things away for the evening.
